A+
The adapted version has more description and interactions and the stats actually matter. Lets just say the original isnt as good as the adapted version. The stats definitely matter in this game, consistency is important. This game is very short and sometimes you make a choice and get forced down a different path anyways. So to some degree this game railroads you down a specific path. The plot is decent but the game itself suffers from being very linear. Not as good as other choice games.
I bought this hoping I could name my character, I can't. I wasted my money. Put it in the description that you can't
A little gem of a game. I really enjoyed it!
It was a very constricting gameplay wherein i have to go along with harmony or whatnot. It has a few good points but that was it a FEW.
Give me a refund!!! Or another book at least. this book for me was so goddamn short,it builds up to something and then it just stops.
Waste of time and money
Strange, put kindly. I feel as though it was a waste of my money, being a "Choose your own adventure" story. Way to Fallout 4 us, man. Can't RP for crap with pre-set characters.
While I was fascinated by all the knowledge of Chinese culture and traditions, as a "choose you own adventure" story, this fell flat. The readers are supposed to feel like their decisions matter, but throughout the whole game there was only ONE way to play that would progress the story, the FAMILY way. It made it hard not to resent them on behalf of my character.
It was fun, the story was good and it was enjoyable
